New Video Release
MJ Lenderman has unveiled a new music video for 'Wrist Watch', directed by Lance Bangs, from his album “Manning FireWorks”.
Video Overview
The video features Lenderman as he navigates a pickup truck loaded with basketballs and inflatable pool rafts, crashing into a flyover multiple times. Additional appearances include members of the Wind throughout the clip.
Bangs shares his vision for the video, stating: “For quite some time, I collaborated with Jake, spending late summer days listening to songs that would inspire the fireworks of production. I imagined characters caught in a loop, echoing themes from the lyrics, present in the ‘clockwork clock.’ This song was the one I found myself returning to for repeated listens among the batch of records.”
“I recalled bridges with low resolution from my travels in Northern Carolina, witnessing the contrast between train bridges constructed in the early 20th century and the modern-day 13-foot height of most tractor trailers. Darema boasts a notable figure called ‘Canopener,’ which is featured on their website and YouTube. The measurements and established plans aim to capture a few more occurrences in Jurgen’s ongoing documentation.”
Upcoming Tours
Lenderman and The Wind are set to embark on their first European and British tours in 2025, including shows across the UK and a performance at Primavera Sound, followed by an extensive summer filled with festival appearances and headlining events.
