Slaney Bay Unveils New EP Titled “For a Long Time, Home”

New EP Announcement

Slaren Bay has announced their upcoming EP “A Long Way Home,” set for release on May 30. The title track also shares the same name.

Band Background

The southeast London quartet was recognized on the Longlist Emerging Talent for Glastonbury 2025. They recently performed at the Dial and Supersonic festivals and have supported various parties during their UK tour.

Vocalist Kate Whitley shared her thoughts on the track: “’A Long Way Home’ is a song that explores the quiet pain of young love. The inspiration came from a night when I intentionally missed my last train from Central London just to spend a bit more time with my love. I chose the longest route with them because I simply wasn’t ready to say goodbye. I wasn’t sure if they felt the same, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling.”
