Upcoming Tours and Festivals
Wombats recently announced a UK and Ireland arena tour this winter, with support from Snuts. They’ve also been announced as the final headliner for the Rock N Roll Circus in Sheffield, scheduled for 2025.
Additionally, the group is set to perform at various summer festivals, including Big Weekend Radio 1, Kendal Calling, Y Not, Boardmasters, Mad Cool, and others.
‘Oh! The Ocean’ was produced by Milashka John Congleton with contributions from St. Vincent and reflects personal experiences of frontman Murph during a recent family beach vacation.
During an interview with NME last October, Murph shared, “The larger the crowd, the more comfortable I feel. The smaller ones scare me because I can see everyone’s face.”
He elaborated, “In smaller settings, I notice individuals who seem uninterested or those who came expecting a different sound. But in larger crowds, it feels like I’m engaging with one energetic entity.”
