New Music Release
Glasgow Wider makes a comeback with their first new music since 2023, debuting the single “Best Days.”
Exploration of Themes
The track is accompanied by a video filmed on New Year’s Eve, where Emma Ross delves into themes of friendship, community, and the accomplishments of adulthood in their hometown.
The group expresses: “This is an ode to friends, to every night spent together; every wild adventure, every hug, and the support we gave one another through tough times – friends we’ve lost along the way, and the new ones yet to come.”
Written by brothers Conor and Niall Goldi, and produced by Conor alongside Manny D, this track draws influence from 90s dance music pioneers like Orbital, Underworld, and Faithless.
The five-member band, featuring Hamish Hatcheson on vocals, Alexander Pirson on vocals and synthesizer, Conor Goldi on programming, production, and guitar, Niall Goldi on bass, and Carlo Crycard on drums, is currently putting the finishing touches on their debut album for Music for Nations.
