Lewis Capaldi’s Performance at WWE Smackdown
Lewis Capaldi made a public appearance at WWE Smackdown in London last night (March 28).
The singer-songwriter was spotted in the crowd at the O2 arena, acknowledging fans by flashing the peace sign and giving them a thumbs up.
He was also seen having a conversation with Scottish wrestler Drew McIntyre backstage.
A Break from the Spotlight
After taking a hiatus from the public eye since 2023, following his performance at Glastonbury where he faced vocal issues due to Tourette syndrome, Capaldi’s return has garnered much attention.

In January of last year, he shared an update on his health, stating, “It was great!” Later that year, fans spotted him in a recording studio with Noah Kahan, and he received supportive messages from Robbie Williams.
Recently, Jungblud revealed that Capaldi is working on some “excellent” new music.
“I heard his new tracks, and they sound incredible. He’s managing his mental health well,” he mentioned.
“I care for him deeply; we both have been on a similar journey, and he’s perhaps the only friend who understands what I’m going through,” Jungblud added, discussing how Capaldi helped him with his recent single “Hello, Heaven, Hello.”
“During this album process, I was very close to Lewis, and he encouraged me, saying, ‘Just sing, dude.’ We also have a major British actress featured in the video, which will be iconic,” he noted.
The two have maintained a close friendship over the years and have discussed how they have influenced each other’s careers.
For instance, in 2019, Jungblud recounted their mischievous adventures, joking about their wild nights together. The following year, he humorously stated that they “kept Stella Artois in business for two years” during their time spent together.
