The new record will be released on July 18 through Polyvinyl and features a collection of 12 songs that delve into themes of love, war, trust, betrayal, virtue, and vice.

Inspiration for the album came during a month-long retreat in Greece, where Grace collaborated with the Grant for a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation.

The LP also highlights various collaborations, including vocal contributions from her wife, Paris Kampbell Grace, along with musicians Jack Focas and Ottobadis Lagadinos, who provide the bass and drums, respectively.

Alongside the album announcement, today (March 25) sees the release of the energetic lead single “Mine me Mine,” where Grace expresses her commentary on capitalism.

“Adventure Club” is described as a record about learning to occupy space and achieving freedom through self-expression amidst our chaotic times,” says the new press release.

“For Grace, protest songs and personal melodies blend seamlessly, and she presents some of her most profound—and playful—work at this unique intersection. The overarching theme throughout the twelve tracks is an evolution toward embracing the new.”

In other news, Laura Jane Grace recently reflected with NME on her album “Hole in My Head” and marked the 10th anniversary of “Transgender Dysphoria Blues.”

“It’s incredible to think that a whole decade has passed,” she remarked about the latter. “Everything feels immediate, as if it was just yesterday. I am immensely grateful for all that has happened around this record, and I take pride in it.”

“Looking back, I often think, ‘Is that even me?’ and wonder, ‘Did I really live this life?’ It’s hard to believe how transformative the last ten years have been,” she added.

“At the time I wrote that record, I was mostly closed off and hadn’t even come out yet. The number of changes that occurred just within the year following its release was overwhelming. Reflecting on everything that has transpired over the last decade is quite a lot to process.”
