The band is also contributing £1 from each ticket sold for their British shows to Living Trust, a new initiative aimed at providing financial support to those in the live music industry. Additionally, they have partnered with Plus1 to donate £1 from each ticket sold to War Child.

They were also recently added to the lineup for the upcoming Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool, where they will be taking the main stage on May 25.

The album “Rushmere” marks Mumford & Sons’ first project as a trio, featuring Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane, and Ben Lovett. Banjoist Winston Marshall departed from the band in 2021 after facing backlash for endorsing the book of right-wing American journalist Andy Ngo.

In a three-star review of Mumford & Sons’ “Delta” in 2018, Jordan Bassett wrote for NME: “A decade after they began their quest to become the most popular band in the world, Mumford & Sons continues to explore uncharted territory. The lyrics and compositions convey a sense of maturity, and this evolving approach suggests that the band is very much a work in progress.”
