The Lip Filler Unveils New Single “Laugh Track” Amidst an “Irritable Rock Atmosphere”

New single release

Filler for the lips has unveiled their latest single 'Lack Track' ahead of an upcoming tour in the UK.

Inspiration and recording process

The London-based band recorded the track directly to tape at the historic St. Francis hotel, renowned for its collaborations with Little Simz and Greentea Peng. The song delves into feelings of helplessness amid self-destructive behaviors.

Vocalist George Tucker elaborates on the track’s theme: “The song addresses someone grappling with self-destructive tendencies, who painfully recognizes their state yet struggles to manage their situation in a chaotic world.”

“It took us some time, but we eventually embraced a thrilling emotional rock vibe. It’s big, loud, and full of passion. As individual artists and producers, lip filler as a project embodies everything we aspire to be as a group: the sound is so rich and distinctive that it’s hard to believe it fits into stereo,” the group shares.
