New Album Announcement
No Nova Girents teases their third album “Parasites & Butterflies,” set to release on August 29 via Marshall Records, with the new video for their latest single ‘Soprano.’
Collaboration and Themes
The duo collaborated with producer Rich Kostya (Foo Fighters, Muse, Deftones, Sam Fender) on the album, which was recorded in Vermont, USA.
Discussing the record, Amy Love and Georgia South explain: “Parasites and Butterflies” serves as a bridge between chaos and beauty, encompassing both sides. The songs evoke a desire to dance, cry, reflect, or even escape.
Speaking about their new single “Soprano,” the group states: “We address the theme of women coming together, uplifting one another, and exhibiting strength as a collective. Occasionally, this can feel like an industry comparison, where we are judged based on our appearance, aesthetics, hair, genre, achievements, and more. Long-term co-writer Harry Lindley shared these insights.”

The group has also announced their UK and Europe tour following the summer festival season, which includes Glastonbury and support slots with Lenny Kravitz and Biffy Clyro.
