Drummer Fay Milton of Savages Unveils New Album “Goddess” Featuring Elena Tonser and More

New Project Announcement

Goddess, a new joint project overseen and produced by Fei Milton from Savages, has announced the release of their debut album, aptly named “Goddess”, set to launch on May 30 through Bella Union.

First Single Release

The project has unveiled its first single, 'Shadows', which features vocals from Elena Tonra (known from Daughter), accompanied by Hinako Omori on piano and Ice Hassan (from Savages) on bass guitar.

“What I like about this track is that it possesses a unique blend of darkness and lightness,” Milton shares.

The album consists of ten tracks and features a rotating cast of artists including Shingai, Delilah Holliday, Salvia, Shadow Stevie, Isabel Muñoz-Newsome, Bess Atwell, Izzy Bee Phillips, Grove, and Harriet Rock.

“Thanks to this project, I stepped away from drumming and embraced the role of producer, infusing female energy throughout the creative process,” explains Milton. “The concept of the goddess emerged from my curiosity about what happens when you blend creative spirits in intriguing new ways.”

This project came to fruition after the dissolution of Savages, during which Milton collaborated with his former bandmate, Aise Hassan. The album explores a variety of genres, including post-punk, electronic, dream, and indie rock.

Goddess will perform live at Ruge Trade East, London, on June 3, featuring appearances by Izzy, Black Honey, Harriet Rock, Shadow Stevie, and Isabel Muñoz-Newsome.
