New Single Release
Kae Tempest has unveiled his latest single ‘Statue in the Square’ through Island Records.
Track Details
The track was created with Fraser T Smith and marks Tempest’s first release since 2022’s I Wish Light, which featured Grian Chatten and included tracks from the album “The Line is Curve”.
“There is power in presenting yourself and standing up for your community.”
This single is accompanied by a video filmed in Deptford, directed by Boy Dike. The video showcases performances from Princess Julia, Joel Taylor, Potka, Debbie Smith, and Dr. Ronks.
Tempest is scheduled to perform at the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival in Manchester, alongside three intimate shows.
