Taylor Swift Delivers a Surreal Performance of “Mirrorball” After Winning the Tour of the Century Award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift’s Historic Performance

Taylor Swift unveiled the long-awaited performance of “Mirror” following her triumph at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2025, where she won a prestigious award for her remarkable tour.

Record-Breaking Tour Milestones

As part of their recap of the most played artists and songs of the past year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards also highlighted a new accolade for Swift, recognizing her impressive achievements throughout the era.

The monumental tour concluded in December in Vancouver at the BC Place stadium in British Columbia, after an astounding 149 shows over a span of 21 months. By the midway point of the tour, Swift had already made headlines as the first artist to gross over 1 billion dollars (796 million pounds). It became clear that, upon its conclusion, this tour would be the highest-grossing in music history.

Ultimately, the World Tour generated ticket sales amounting to $2,077,618,725 (1.6 billion pounds), shattering the previous record held by any concert tour, including “The Music of the Spheres,” which was previously acknowledged as the most profitable tour of the year.

In a recent event on March 17, Swift’s friend Nikki Glaser announced the honor and shared that she attended 22 shows of the tour. “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would witness a live performance of such scale,” the comedian exclaimed.

“Each show was a marathon of perfection—vocal artistry, athleticism, costumes, secret songs. These are memories I’ll cherish forever.”

Despite not being present to accept the award in person, Swift recorded a heartfelt video expressing her gratitude to the audience and fans who supported her during the tour.

“I’ve been busy reflecting a lot since being off the road these past few months,” Swift stated. “People often say that sometimes the greatest challenges in life end up being what we are most proud of or become the most rewarding if we can rise to the occasion.”

“This tour was an immense endeavor I undertook in my life. I’m so proud of this monumental show, and I thank all the fans who came out and supported me across multiple albums. The only reason I could take on such challenges, including production ambitions, show duration, and the multitude of countries we visited, is all thanks to the fans,” she emphasized.

As a token of appreciation, in her absence, Swift shared a video of her performance of “Mirror” from the surprise set during her Glendale, Arizona, Eras Tour Night One Show.

“You have made songs over the last two decades that have become so impactful that we can create a three-and-a-half-hour set story.”

At the same event, Gracie Abrams received the award for Breakthrough Artist and thanked Swift for including her as the opening act on the Eras Tour, noting that no one embodies the essence of pop culture like Swift.
