Produced by John Lake, The Bends was Radiohead’s second album and propelled them to even greater heights. This album marked their first collaboration with Nigel Godrich, who has since produced every Radiohead album.
Some notable B-Sides from the album include “Indian Rubber” and “How Can You Be Sure?”. One of the most popular B-Sides, “Talk Show Host”, was featured in the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet, in which Leonardo DiCaprio portrayed Romeo Montague.
New Developments for Radiohead
The release of the playlist followed the band sharing a live acoustic video from one of Thom Yorke’s performances since the launch of “The Bends”.
The video features Thom performing an acoustic solo show at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, Canada, on March 28, 1995. The 25-minute footage showcases him singing tracks such as “(Nice Dream)”, “Street Spirit (Fade Out)”, “Fake Plastic Trees”, and “Thinking About You”.
Additionally, the band has recently formed a new legal entity, indicating potential significant activities planned for 2025.
On Monday (March 10), the group registered a limited liability partnership (LLP) named Rheuk25, a move they typically make prior to announcing new albums, tours, or reissues. The LLP structure enables Radiohead to manage their business affairs independently, without reliance on record labels and external companies. No further details were provided regarding this strategic move.

The band’s last album, A Moon Shaped Pool, was released in May 2016, shortly after they registered Dawn Chorus LLP. More recently, they made a similar registration with SPIN and Grin LLP, which was just six months before the reissue announcement of KID A MNESIA in 2021, followed by Self Help Tapes LLP in 2022, preceding the announcement of The Smile’s debut album.
All five members of Radiohead – Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, and Philip Selway – are listed as officers in Rheuk25 LLP.
The group has also hinted at future plans. Last year, Yorke made headlines stating that he was “really not worried” about whether fans wanted Radiohead to return. When asked by Australian outlet Double J about the band’s future, he replied: “I do not know about that, and honestly, I don’t let it concern me.”
“No one is upset about anything, and I appreciate the concern,” he added. “I believe we have earned the right to do what makes sense for us without feeling obligated to conform to someone else’s historical expectations.”
This discussion followed Colin Greenwood’s conversation with NME regarding the release of his photo book How to Disappear, where he revealed that the band rehearsed together last summer.
