This new record marks their first release in six years and is set to drop through Jagjaguwar on April 11. The album primarily took shape at Justin Vernon’s April base studio in Wisconsin following a reconstruction phase.

These two new tracks follow the earlier release of “All Peaceful Love.” “Walk Home” delves into themes of desire and intimacy, while “If I Could Only Wait” features a duet between Vernon and Daniel Chaim, examining the complexities of new relationships.
“To take another look at the fable, it shouldn’t be just one single; it’s meant to be two,” Vernon shares. “First, ‘Walk Home’ presents a playful take on the excitement of quickly shedding clothes and diving into bed with a real partner. Then, the second single – ‘If I Could Only Wait’ – is a duet that encompasses a bilateral scream. How long can we hold on to each other?”
