The original version of “GUTS”, released in 2024 following Dixon’s “Renaissance” single, delves into themes of anxiety and showcases the most vivid representation of Dixon’s artistry to date.
Piri expresses, “From the moment I first heard the rhythm, I fell in love with ‘Guts’! The track takes you on a journey, with lyrics that feel profound and authentic. I can relate to the sentiment since I wasn’t much of a party person in my younger days, but my contribution reflects that I actually do enjoy partying these days. It’s all about being with the right people! Collaborating on this song with Ellie is a highlight for me, and I’m thrilled that it has such a meaningful message.”
Dixon adds, “Piri is a constant source of inspiration—such a gifted writer and producer. Working on this remix was incredibly enjoyable.
