New Video Release by Hoshi and Woozi
SEVENEENS HOSHI and WOOZI presented a special video for “Douper Idiot,” a B-side from their latest album “Beam.”
Details About the Clip
The clip premiered on March 12, just two days following the song’s release earlier this week as part of their new BEAM album. Both members of Seventeen took part in writing and producing the song, collaborating with a frequent contributor, Bumzzu.
The “stupid idiot” visual adopts a vertical format typical of mobile phones, showcasing Hoshi and Woozi as they prepare for a night out. The video culminates with paparazzi capturing them en route to a party, just before they finally get to enjoy themselves.
“I'll go stupid, mannequin in the club, like an idiot / Everyone is dancing at a party, Teriyaki / I go stupid, fictitious in the club, like an idiot / I go stupid, mannequin like (Idiot),” they repeatedly sing in the chorus, leading into a rhythmic drop.

The single “Beam” follows the lead track “96ers,” for which they also released a music video to accompany the recording. The album features an additional B-side track titled “Pinocchio,” featuring SO! YOON!.
Excitement for the Future
“University and I have always been inseparable since we were young. For a long time, we dreamed of working as a duo, and now that we can finally present the Luch to the world, I am thrilled. This album truly represents the music we want to create, and we plan to fully enjoy our time on stage,” Hoshi shared about the new music at a press event.
The duo also provided an exclusive backstage look at their music video shoot for NME. Check it out below.
