Nick Cave recently revisited his previous “uncontrollable remark” about Red Hot Chili Peppers, acknowledging that he was a “traffic violator, a shitty style.”

Back in 2004, he was quoted saying: “I am forever next to the stereo, saying: ‘What the hell is this garbage?’ And the answer is always made of red hot pepper Chile.”

After receiving a request to elaborate on the truth of this statement in his blog, Red manual files, Cave took a moment to reflect on his words. “About twenty-five years ago, I made an unusual and somewhat unpleasant remark about the Red Hot Chili Peppers. There was no malice intended; it was simply what I would say to provoke angry people,” Cave expressed.
