The metal singer took the stage, which was adorned with fog and flowers, wearing a white furry dress and red gloves. The performance showcased her delicate vocals, leading to a powerful crescendo with her striking bubble vocals: “I can’t push me further in the trench / back to the wall / So what do you want to check me now? / So far, the rest are asking and cannot repent / they were suitable for suffering / and I will dig,” she sang during the climax of the song.

“The Cost of Delivery” is featured on her latest LP, “Negative Spaces.” In a previous interview with NME about the album, she expressed: “I feel that this record is one of the most difficult works I’ve done, but it is also the sweetest. There is a feeling I experience when I sit among the extremes; it feels very whole to me.”

Her performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! followed her appearance as a guest during Knocked Loose’s performance on the show last December. She joined the American hardcore punk band for a fierce rendition of their collaborative single “Supcotate” and also performed several other tracks from their upcoming album, set to release in 2024, titled “You Will Not Go Before You Must.”

Frontman Brian Harris previously addressed the criticism they received after their performance on social media, noting: “The other day, Noka @Jimmykimmellive. Our goal was to see how far we could push this band into spaces we don’t typically approach, and I think this could be the largest—national television.”
