Billy Joel’s UK Shows Postponed Until 2026 Due to Health Concerns This Summer

Billy Joel’s Concerts Postponed

Billy Joel has postponed his British show until next year due to health concerns.

The iconic singer-songwriter and pianist initially announced details about his concert tour in September, confirming a visit to the UK for two major performances. These included a stop in Edinburgh at Murrayfield on June 7 and a concert at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 21.

The Edinburgh concert would have marked his first performance in the Scottish city in 46 years, while the Liverpool show was poised to be his first in 45 years.

However, Joel has now shared an update, revealing the postponement of both concerts due to his “state of health.”

Health Update and Rescheduled Dates

In a statement released by his team, it was mentioned that the decision to postpone the concerts comes as he is currently recovering from surgery and undergoing physical therapy under medical supervision. Although specific details about his medical procedure were not disclosed, the representative assured that the artist is expected to make a full recovery.
