Kanye West Teases Sunday Service Return
Kanye West has hinted at the revival of his Sunday service competitions through a recent official announcement and shared a photograph of a KKK robe on social networks.
Sunday Service Announcement
On Saturday (March 8), the rapper took to Instagram to announce that his Sunday service events are set to return on March 16. He shared a photo featuring the director of Sunday service, Jason White, but hasn’t disclosed further details about the upcoming project.
West launched Sunday service in 2019 alongside the release of his album *Jesus Is King*. During these performances, he and the Gospel choir showcased songs from the album and gospel renditions of his other hits until the end of 2021.

While his announcement seemed to signal that he was moving in the right direction after a series of controversies, this perception quickly faded when he posted an image of a white robe commonly linked to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) on Instagram.
Kanye captioned the photo with a brief message: “The fit of the day.” He subsequently shared the same image on X/Twitter with the caption: “Fit pic.”

Kanye has since reacted to Instagram for deleting his post, stating: “Wow Instagram took my post.”
The posts received backlash on social media, with many expressing feelings of discomfort and stating that “there is no way to separate the art from the man” in relation to him.
Kanye West, sending a KKK dress, made me feel bad in my stomach. Why is this not larger news? He must be devoted.

Open the IG and the first thing I see is Kanye with KKK costume, telling about the clothes of the day. It is impossible to share art and man with him, sorry,

This incident marks the latest in a string of controversies for the rapper, who has faced criticism in recent months for selling a white t-shirt emblazoned with a large swastika emblem, referred to as “HH-01” on his website—a reference to the phrase “Hail Hitler.”
Later, Shopify removed the site, although they later claimed the artist’s website was taken down due to potential fraud and not specifically for selling the swastika t-shirt. Shopify condemned the merchandise, labeling it as “vile, disgusting, and unforgivable.”
Following this, West took to X (formerly Twitter) to assert that he had been contemplating the idea for the t-shirt for over eight years. His comments accompanied a series of contradictory posts in which he attempted to re-establish ties with the Jewish community concerning his previous anti-Semitic remarks while also calling himself a “Nazi” and expressing his admiration for Hitler. He praised the billionaire Elon Musk, describing him as “the most personal person who was ever on Twitter.”
After some reflection, the contradictory rapper appeared to distance himself from his earlier remarks, stating on X that he “came to the realization that I am not a Nazi.” Yet, only days later, he shared more imagery related to the swastika on his X page.
This controversy resulted in his account being temporarily suspended and deactivated. It was later confirmed that the rapper lost his talent agency, and his former chief of staff left Yeezy.
In February, his rants also revealed his claim of “dominion” over his wife Bianca Tsenkori after they attended the Grammy red carpet event, where she wore a sheer dress that exposed her figure. He also posted a series of tweets supporting Diddy and Chris Brown, calling for the first’s release from prison amid sexual assault allegations.
During these rants, employees associated with Kanye West condemned his hate-filled rhetoric, with Charlie Puth urging him to cease promoting “incredibly dangerous” messages. Even *Friends* star David Schwimmer called for accountability over the rapper’s “Nazi” posts filled with hatred, asserting that silence is complicity.
