Bill Murray Breaks His Silence on the Kelisa Rumors

Bill Murray Talks About Rumors

Bill Murray spoke about rumors that he had met with Kelis.

Speculation on Their Relationship

The speculation of relations between the two stars began in 2023, after they were behind the scenes together at the London festival Mighty Hoopla and Jazz and Soul Festival, just a week apart.

Kelis addressed the rumors at that time, stating that people “would believe in what -liba” in response to a fan’s inquiry about their validity.

Now, Murray has commented on public interest in their unexpected pairing during a new interview on SiriusXM Not yet in the morning.

“I met this girl named Kelis,” said the actor to host Svet Kalloway. “I had a great press that I met with her, which really raised my loan.”

He further explained that he first became interested in the singer of “Milkshake” when he saw her in the music video for “Dirty Bastard” featuring his 1999 hit “Got Your Money.”

“I love this video,” Murray shared. “I watched it and thought, ‘This is so ridiculous. How did I miss this when it first came out? This is so insane, and I said, ‘Who is that girl with red hair?’ And it was Kelis, so I just had to meet her someday. She was impressive.”

Later, Murray mentioned that the couple recently crossed paths again but denied any dating rumors, clarifying: “No. No, but, you know, one of us could be on the rebound at any second.”
