Great escape More than 175 additional artists for their festival lineup in 2025 have been announced.
Featuring Diverse Acts
Taking place in Brighton from May 14 to 17, the festival will now showcase over 450 acts across 35 venues. British rock group Skuns Anansy aims to tap into the indie scene at the Old Market on May 16, ahead of their new album “The The The Thes of the A Chapipling Truth.”
The latest additions span multiple genres, with Brighton’s Badger bringing bass garage vibes, and the London duo Blue Laboratory Blows representing the crossover jazz scene. Other notable acts include the Liverpool group Courtship, the feminist trio from Brighton CLT DRP, and Melbourne’s instrumental doom metal act Divide and Dissolve.
Late Night Programming
Soul singer Nia Smith, the psychedelic band Mandrit’s Handshake, and the Cambridge sextet Ugly are among the exciting new additions. The festival has also expanded its late-night program, “Late Escape,” which will run from 11:30 PM to 4 AM featuring electronic and club artists, including SIM0NE and Meat.
